The live browser calculator includes original and revised cost scenarios, a renewal comparison, client proposal PDF and HTML exports, and a library of up to 20 named jobs. You can also download an internal draft backup. No account or payment is required.
The calculator adds the labor and monthly costs you enter, then divides that cost by one minus your target margin. For example, $1,700 in included monthly costs at a 20% target margin produces a $2,125 monthly price. Margin is a share of the price, not a markup on cost.
Jobs are saved in the browser and device where you create them. There is no cloud sync. Download an internal backup for each job you want to keep, then import that backup in another browser. Clearing browser data can remove saved jobs. Internal backups contain your private costs, so keep them separate from client proposals.
The planned one-time toolkit is a downloadable package with an offline HTML calculator for up to 100 saved contracts, library backup and restore, client proposal exports, worked examples, and reusable scope and renewal templates. It is not an Excel workbook or a cloud account. Checkout is not open yet; the free calculator is available now.
Client proposal exports omit the worksheet's wage, cost, margin and contribution fields. They include your selected service scope, frequency, price and exclusions. Review every client-facing field before exporting; any private information you type into the scope or other client text will appear there.
No. It models the costs and service assumptions you enter. The result does not include costs you leave out, guarantee profit, or replace your business judgment. Check the site requirements, labor assumptions and complete scope before sending a proposal.
A clearer price starts with a clearer view of your costs.
